William Kentridge

In cruel summary, William Kentridge makes short films from charcoal drawings, animating them by rubbing out images and redrawing them, leaving traces just like we do in real life. He really is one of the best artists.

If someone has a side gig lying around where they will send me and my family to far-flung art destinations once a month so I can write about exhibitions like his at SFMoMa, I am open to the opportunity and up for the challenge.
